Messenger Bag/Diaper Bag

I've been wanting to do this project for some time now and I'm quite happy about the end result. I did not use a tutorial or a pattern for this so it is my own design but it is fairly simple. I will be adding in a tutorial for this bag in the future. It still needs a few added touches but this is what it will look like.

I used damask print fabric along with just plain black fabric....

I wanted a big enough bag to be able to put in my personal items as well as using it as a diaper/nappy bag. I am also a huge fan of pockets so I made sure to put in plenty of compartments in the inside....

Inside

I made an insert slip cover so I can simply use cardboard and easily change out the cardboard if it ever gets bent or wet. You can see the bottom insert in the 'inside' image. The side you see on the bottom is the damask print but you can turn it over and have a plain black bottom if so desired.
