FINALLY did it... I'm not 100% pleased with it... however I did it more for the fact of... anything has to look better then tacking fabric to the window to keep the early summer light from waking up our son around 4am.
I did put some lining on the back. I wasn't going to but husband wanted it on there to keep more of the light out.
Not to bad on the back! I ended up hand sewing the hoops on the top hem though as I didn't have any of the clip on ones.
another good thing about lining, it keeps the sun from rotting and fading the fabric and color.
