Bible/Book Cover

Well I finally did it! I've been putting this off for some time now and I decided last night before going to bed I was going to make myself a bible cover. From what I've seen on-line... I have to admit I hate most Bible Covers.... they are over the top, hideous, or just plain tacky looking. I wanted something simple... however it might be a bit TO simple looking so I might add a strap of some sort to go over it.

But I'm pleased with the result!

I am going to add a few more ribbons as the one the bible came with just isn't enough! 

I used some of the fabric I already had on hand.
