Office Curtains

This was an 'experiment' project. I have never done scalloped style curtains before and wanted to at least give it a shot. I don't think I did TOO bad for not using a pattern.

I had originally wanted to make kitchen curtains... that didn't work out so well. The fabric we got was to 'sandy' colour and it completely clashed with the cream(ish) walls. So I decided to make office curtains instead. This way husband can have the window open and not worry about wandering eyes from outside.

I started out with two panels that would go side by side but I (as well as husband) didn't care for the look. So I cut one of the panels down to make narrow panels on each side of the main one. This works out better and it's easier to open the window as well.

Here's a photo of  what it looked like before I cut one of the panels.
I'm not sure WHY one panel looks wider then the other in this image, they were the same size. Maybe it was the angle of the shot.

Maybe when I have better lighting I shall take a better photo of it IN the window!
